Lola arrived at the shelter in January 2025, already pregnant and in need of support. She had been a beloved community dog, but when she became pregnant, the kind neighbour who fed her most often knew she couldn’t give Lola the care she needed. She brought her to the shelter so she could deliver her puppies safely.
Lola gave birth to six puppies; heartbreakingly, two did not survive, but four were adopted in Morón. Lola is the sweetest, calmest soul - a gentle girl who prefers quiet moments and cozy hideaways. Her favourite spot at the shelter is the hollow of a tree, where she tucks herself in for peace and comfort.
Lola was adopted alongside Blaqui and has a forever family waiting for her in Canada. Because she’s a larger dog who must fly in cargo, she’s had to wait patiently. This December, Lola will finally make the journey home to the family who has been dreaming of her since the day they said yes.
