Our shelter is located in Morón, about 1.5 hours outside of Cayo Coco.
If you’d like us to help an animal at your resort, we will need the taxi fare covered. You can also hire a taxi to bring an animal directly to our shelter.
Rescuing from resorts is complicated. It requires time, coordination, and cooperation from resort management to allow us on the grounds. The animal must be secured first before we can step in.
Dogs are especially difficult to rescue. In most cases, we can't rescue resort dogs unless they're friendly enough to be safely touched and leashed.
We are unable to assist in other areas of Cuba such as Havana, Holguín, Cayo Santa Maria, Varadero etc - but we can recommend local rescues who may be able to help.
