Blaqui is a gentle, resilient girl who was rescued from an owner who was abusing her. She arrived at the shelter in April 2025. Since then, she has had a tumour removed, received proper medical treatment, and has been sterilized - most of all, she has received love and safety.
Because she is a larger dog, Blaqui can only travel in cargo (available during the winter months) which meant waiting longer than most. And she has waited - patiently and sweetly.
This December, her moment finally comes. Blaqui will be flying to Canada to join her forever family, where a safe, loving life is waiting for her at last.
